Ceres Building Project

Ceres Project Building Project by Community Builders Group

A Personal Note:
Community Builders Group is proud to present our next up coming project. We will be taking on a renovation project for “Ceres Project”, a local non profit that provides organic healthy meals to individuals with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. This wonderful program encompasses many cultural changes taking place here in our community.

What I love the most is its heart of compassion towards others as well as bringing a younger generation to this arena. The “Ceres Project” not only provides organic nutritional meals but is about empowering the youth (students, jr hi and high school) by teaching them how to prepare and cook the meals. Many things begin to take shape through this process. Students become more aware of how they can make a difference in others lives, especially those needing the support of “Ceres Project”. These young volunteers in fact are becoming more aware of how important healthy foods are for our well being and in the process of helping our bodies heal. Just mentioning a few of these cultural changes gives a better picture and example of what community can and should be all about. People caring for one another, supporting one another especially in difficult times, building relationships and bridging the generational gaps as we work together.

We hope that you will join us in this important project. In doing so you will create a New Home for the “Ceres Project”, as they seek to provide more meals and support for those dealing with cancer treatment recovery.
